Immediately after the Russian invasion began, an initiative was launched that has gradually brought together more than 400 women from 26 countries around the world. Led by Lesya Kopchuk, they organized humanitarian and material aid, with the first shipments heading directly to Ukraine. The Women’s Association for Aid to Victims of War Aggression was formed. A sewing workshop was transformed into a facility for producing uniforms and specialized equipment for Ukrainian defenders. We deliver aid to Ukraine on a regular basis—usually once a month directly to specific units and people who need it. We are building long-term relationships on the ground, and in addition to humanitarian aid and our own production, we are also beginning to provide technical equipment and vehicles.

What began as a volunteer initiative has gradually evolved into an organization with a much broader scope. In February 2023, it adopted a new name—Spark Association. We continue to make regular trips to Ukraine, build direct contacts with specific units, and expand our assistance based on their current needs. In addition to humanitarian aid and our own production of winter clothing for soldiers, we are beginning to provide 3D-printed parts, periscopes, medical supplies, and vehicles for units on the front lines. At the same time, we are arranging for the purchase and transport of operational unmanned aerial vehicles.

We are expanding the scope of our aid and responding to specific requests coming directly from Ukraine. We are delivering vehicles, generators, communications equipment, supplies, and the first drones to the front lines and affected areas. We are helping not only military units but also civilians, abandoned animals, and women who have returned from Russian captivity.
It is precisely this direct cooperation with military units and our experience with deploying drones that is gradually showing us that simply supplying available technology is not enough. Therefore, at the end of 2024, we will begin working on the development of our own drone solutions.

As the war continues, the demand for aid is growing. Off-road vehicles, Starlink devices, jammers, power sources, ATVs, motorcycles, heavy equipment, and drones are being sent to Ukraine. At the same time, we are continuing to develop our own drones.
Thanks to our long-standing personal contacts with the units, we are able to respond to their current needs and obtain direct feedback from real-world deployments.

Four years of direct aid and experience in Ukraine have taken us from supplying drones to developing and manufacturing our own solutions based on real needs on the front lines. Today, we also have our own network of volunteers right in Ukraine, which allows us to respond quickly to current needs, coordinate aid on the ground, and get it where it’s truly needed.

What began in 2022 as spontaneous aid from a few people has now become long-term, targeted support for Ukraine—ranging from humanitarian aid to technologies developed specifically to meet the needs of those we’re helping.
