The Spark Association was founded out of a simple human need not to stand idly by. What began as an initiative that brought together hundreds of women from various countries gradually grew into an organization based on direct aid, personal responsibility, and long-term relationships with people in Ukraine.

Our work is based on direct contact with the people we help. We listen to their needs, seek concrete solutions, and deliver aid directly to where it’s needed. Thanks to our network of volunteers in the Czech Republic and Ukraine, we’re able to respond quickly to the situation on the ground and connect those who want to help with those who need it most.

Over the years, the scope of our work has naturally evolved alongside Ukraine’s needs. We’ve moved from humanitarian aid, clothing, and equipment to vehicles, power sources, communications technology, drones, and our own technical solutions developed based on experience gained directly from the front lines. However, we devote just as much attention to civilians, women who have been held captive by the Russians, and animals that have lost their homes due to the war.

Behind everything we do are real people and real stories. And that is precisely why, for us, helping others is not a one-time gesture, but a commitment we uphold every day.
